After several months of development, PGC is very proud to show what our AVN System can do. Please watch the videos below to see the system in action!
As an advertising agency PGC offers a great deal to golfers and those in the industry. Our daily Closest to the Pin Tournament adds another level to the game without taking anything away. Along with that the system helps our advertisers and sponsors pin point how to best to reach their clientele.
By harnessing the power of AI Computer Vision to accurately detect the motion and trajectory of the golf balls, PGC opens an entire new world for golfers.
For the sponsors and advertisers, PGC offers Machine Learning Algorithms and Cloud Computing to discover and predict potential items the golfer may want to better their game.
First Test - Started the PGC AVN system by selecting the QR Code. The plan is to have the QR code at the tee box so players can start the tournament. The video shows exactly what will be on the player's phone/ NOTE - Shot clock was condensed.
Ball was dropped during the 30 second shot clock, as if a golfer hit their ball, and as you see, the system detected the ball and shows how far away from the hole it landed.
Second Test - Did everything exactly like the first test, but didn't toss a ball as if the golfer didn't hit the green.
Third Test - Same as the first test, dropped a ball on the green as if hit by a golfer. Camera\system detected the correct ball and disregarded the one dropped in the first test.
We will also be keeping every video clip to double check if needed and to have available for the winners to show their accomplishment on the course.
Fourth Test - Another round of what was done in the first 3 tests.
Fifth Test - Another round of what was done in the first 3 tests. Once again, it does not detect anything when there is no ball to detect from this round of tournament play.
Sixth Test - Another round of what was done in the first 3 tests. Once again, picks up the ball dropped as if hit by a player, but does not detect the ball already on the green near the hole.

A new way of interacting where the users are engaged in one activity utilizing the the technology to enhance the activity.
When a player actually hits the ball on the course, the PGC technology virtually gathers the data to show where the ball lands as they participate on our ongoing tournament.
This allows for many players across the world to engage with each other creating new contests and tournaments thanks to the Actual Virtual Networking.

We have created a way to have an ongoing Closest to the Pin Tournament all day everyday on any par 3 hole with the PGC system.
Simply
1.) Log into the PGC app (See video below) and follow the screens to pay your fee and get entered into the tournament.
2.) Hit your ball
3.) Land on the green
Within 10 feet - $200.00
Within 5 feet - $500.00
Within 2 feet - $1000.00
Hole in One - $2,500.00
All prizes paid immediately along with a video of your shot sent to your email.
1.) Chance for smaller companies to sponsor a nationwide golf tournament. They get the advertising on the app, emails, and website as they pay all winners prize payouts.
2.) Brings technology into the game without taking from the integrity of golf.
3.) PGC can build databases and reports from all of our players looking at demographics to pinpoint marketing and advertising dollars for equipment manufacturers, clothing, lodging, etc.
4.) Endless advertising space for those who sponsor and pay the prizes to those who just want to have their company or product displayed on all of the PGC outlets.
This is all made possible through our Actual Virtual Network (AVN).
Through an Actual Virtual Network (AVN) everyone involved benefits; the player, the course, and the event itself. An AVN brings together the player ACTUALLY playing the tournament at the course no different than any other time before. On their favorite course, with their friends and their own clubs and balls, etc. as they have many times before.
Once the player connects through their smart phone they are now VIRTUALLY in the PGC ACTUAL VIRTUAL NETWORK where the technology follows, detects, and reports on where the ball lands to load all of that data to ultimately gather the final results for that individual player. Along with gathering information for the individual player, the AVN technology also loads it all to the PGC host computers to ensure accuracy. This AVN makes it possible for anyone with access to the Internet to be part of the PGC tournament. Bringing all of these elements together creates the Actual Virtual Network (AVN).
PGC will work with the golf course management and team to decide on the best par-3 hole to put a system on. Once the system is installed players will be able to play in the PGC tournaments all day every day that the course is open. PGC takes care of all implementation duties, calibrating and monitoring of the system, and all gathering of information. THIS IS ALL AT NO COST TO THE COURSE nor will we need any of the golf course staff to assist.
PGC will do our marketing and advertising for the course, the pro shop, the bar\restaurant or anything else the course would like to be advertised to their customers and golfers. Once again, all of this is at no cost to the golf course and is all possible through PGC's technology including the Actual Virtual Network (AVN).
